Blog 2:

I hope that I better myself as a writer in this class. Sadly, my biggest strength is my weakness when it comes to writing. Most of the time, I will have great ideas and have many things to say and write about. This makes me ramble and get away from the big picture. I am hoping that this class will show me how to take a big idea and expand on that without going off topic. I also hope that I'm able to learn different writing styles and learn to love writing in all ways. Most importantly, I hope this class teaches me to learn from other people's writing so I can make my writing even more great!

Frustrating part of wrting

The most frustrating part about writing to me is that I have so many great ideas but they never make any sense when I put them on paper. I feel as if I could write about any topic and it all sounds great inside of my head, but then I start to write about it, and it sounds silly or it doesn't all go along with each other. I know that I can help this by making an outline and doing rough drafts. I can get all of my ideas together and write them down. This is just frustrating to me because I want to write good and I want to be able to have good papers. I hope that I am able to overcome this. My prewriting should help because of peer revising and editing.
